Rule Changes for 2019

For the 2019 UIL Golf Season, all 35 USGA rule changes will be in effect.  The UIL Golf State Championships will NOT be adopting the Local Rule: Alternative to Stroke and Distance.

Essay submissions for the UIL Essay Contests are due February 20th. ONE essay can qualify you as a UIL State finalist, make you eligible for TILF scholarships, AND win your school championship points. Submit your essay today!

Shipping Information for A+ Spring District Meets

Printed Materials:

• February 1-6 meets are being shipped to arrive by January 25th.
• February 7-13 meets: materials arrive by January 30th
• February 14- March 5 meets: materials arrive by February 1st
• March 6- March 30 meets: materials arrive by February 15th
• April 1- end of May meets: materials arrive by March 6th

Digital Materials:

• February meets: materials emailed by January 16
• March meets: materials emailed by February 13
• April and May meets: materials emailed by March 8

UIL Sponsor HEB Scholarships for Texas Athletic, Music and Academic Participants

As part of its Corporate Sponsorship of the UIL, HEB will recognize 15 high school seniors who participated in UIL competitions for their community service. Five students who competed in athletics, music or academic events will be selected from the pool of applicants.

October 2018 Legislative Council Meeting Results

The University Interscholastic League Legislative Council met Sunday and Monday to make decisions on proposed rule changes in UIL academics, athletics, music and policy.

CROSS COUNTRY REGIONAL SITE CHANGE (Region II 2A-6A & Region III 1A)

Due to heavy rains and flooding, the Regional Cross Country site for Region II 2A-6A and Region III 1A will be held at the Jesse Owens Memorial Complex and adjacent Hulcy Fields. The address is 9191 South Polk St. Dallas, TX 75232.
