New Rule Regarding Colored-Panel Volleyballs
Effective beginning in the 2011 volleyball season, rule 3-2-1 of the National Federation of High School rules for volleyball allows state associations to choose the color of the competition ball.
Update on TASO Litigation
Due to an injunction issued by the Austin Court of Appeals in the ongoing litigation with TASO, the implementation of the amendments to section 1204 of the UIL Constitution and Contest Rules approved by the UIL Legislative Council and the Commissioner of Education in October, 2009 and January 2010 has been indefinitely delayed.
Until further notice UIL member schools will continue to operate according to section 1204 of the 2009-10 UIL Constitution and Contest Rules.
