UIL Academic State Meet Schedule

State Meet
The TENTATIVE (some rooms/times will likely change) State Meet Academic schedule is now posted. PLEASE NOTE: some coaches meetings are on Monday, May 25, most events will compete on Tuesday, May 26, with finals in speaking events on Wednesday, May 27. This is to accommodate schools with finals and graduation that week.

Essay Competitions Include Scholarship Opportunities

The Barbara Jordan Historical Essay Competition and Latino History Essay Competition are open to all students in grades 9-12 who attend UIL member high schools. The entry deadline is March 3.

Proposed rule changes to be considered by the Legislative Council at its October 21-22 meeting have been posted. These proposals listed were considered by the UIL Legislative Council Standing Committees in June, 2012, and will be considered by the full Council at next month's meeting.
