UIL Essay Contest Judging and Results
Thank you to students who have entered the UIL essay contest. Judges look forward to evaluating your essays. A list of finalists will be released on the UIL essay contest website towards the end of April. Best of luck to all who entered!

ACADEMIC COORDINATOR, COACHES AND DIRECTOR REGISTRATION
Registration must be completed each year.
Please register no later than Oct. 1.
- Each high school campus coordinator should complete the academic coordinator registration form for your campus. Please note that schools are listed by city, then school. This registration includes space for you to list contact emails for each event coach. If you do not have that information, please leave it blank for now.
- The annual speech coach registration form should be completed by each coach of speaking events at the beginning of each school year.
- Theatre directors will register during the one-act play enrollment process.

2023 Fall Student Activities Conferences
Fall Student Activities Conferences are BACK and FREE to attend! Join us in Odessa, Austin, Prosper or Corpus Christi for a full day of intensive sessions focused on all UIL academic topics - including theatre, STEM as well as speech and debate. Sessions are designed for beginning students, advanced students, coaches and academic coordinators to help prepare for upcoming contests. More Info: https://bit.ly/3e6sg4l
District Entries in Team Events – Six Entry Option
In spring Academic contests with a team component, each school may enter as many as four individuals in the district meet, or a maximum of six individuals with District Executive Committee approval. This applies to high school Accounting, Calculator Applications, Computer Science, Current Issues and Events, Literary Criticism, Mathematics, Number Sense, Social Studies, and Spelling and Vocabulary.
